- Macan 2.0T (2015-2023): shared VW/Audi MQB platform; direct-injection carbon buildup at 80,000+ miles; same EVAP sensitivity as Audi Q5
- 911 (992 3.0T flat-six, 2020+): strong compliance record; aftermarket exhausts without CARB EO are the primary visual inspection risk
- Panamera 4.0T V8 and E-Hybrid (2017+): E-Hybrid is a PHEV — not exempt from smog; combustion drive cycle required before testing
- Porsche Taycan (BEV, including Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo): fully exempt from emissions testing — no inspection required
- European OBD on Porsche reports more readiness monitors — all must be complete before testing
